The tour was great! Easy meeting point, great tour guide, and really nice coverage of some of the main points of interest in Sevilla. I definitely walked away with a better sense of the city and its history. Francisco was friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and great at explaining things in an approachable way. I loved his use of pictures/maps. It added a lot to the tour and helped make it even easier to visualize certain historical, geographical, and architectural points.

Without a doubt the Plaza de España in Seville is the favorite place for tourists to visit in the city. The Plaza de España is that essential place in your visit to the Andalusian capital. Nº 1 in the most visited places of the city. Architecture, water for sailing, fountains, parks, horse carriages, provincial banks and endless details encompass this historic square.
Designed by the architect Aníbal Gonzalez director of the Ibero-American exhibition of 1929, unmistakable stamp of this genius. 170 meters in diameter in the shape of a half circle that symbolizes the embrace of Spain to its ancient American territories.
On the walls of the square we can find 48 banks representing forty-six Spanish provinces (all except Seville) and the two archipelagos (Canary and Balearic Islands), with its shield, a map and a Pisan tile cloth with historical highlights of the province or archipelago represented, placed in alphabetical order. These benches are located in four sections, and at the beginning and end of each of them, there is a Pisan tile cloth relative to the province of Seville.
